The 2008 Fall/Winter collection takes inspiration from the natural mineral Marcasite. Rich in iron, crystallised by natural process, its metallic lustre is reflected across a mix of performance driven outerwear and urban utilitarian looks.

 

A dual structure of nature + tech is true to the Victorinox heritage of style and function. The fusion of utility and form guides the use of innovative and sustainable fabrics that are utilised in new ways while reflecting qualities of the environment.

 

Working closely with fabric innovators to infuse design with the most advance material properties Victorinox offers a collection to meet practical human needs and extend human capabilities.

 

Yarns are naturally breathable, lightweight and packable with an ultra soft handle. Combined with embroidered detailing they bring a new hand made quality to Victorinox knitwear. Sustainable wool becomes the new denim. Deep muted colours envelop and protects. The “intelligent insulation layer” or a silver ripstop fabric help to regulate body temperature.

The impressive corner building at 95/96 New Bond Street will house the first European Flagship store for Victorinox, renowned for its unique consumer offering, iconic design, technical innovation and enduring practicality. Victorinox will showcase its six product categories together for the first time in the UK, trading from three floors, totaling 4,500sq feet.

 

The largest of the levels, the ground floor, will showcase an extensive men’s Apparel collection, both men’s and women’s Timepieces and Fragrance. Women’s Apparel will be situated on the first floor and the lower ground floor will showcase Travel Gear, premium Chef’s Knives and the iconic Swiss Army Knives. 

 

With a modern, urban and contemporary interior the flagship store reflects the attributes of the brand, steeped in Swiss heritage, most notably quality, functionality, innovation and iconic design.
